The City of Sandusky is accepting applications for the full-time position of Project/Traffic Engineer. The Project/Traffic Engineer will provide assistance and technical expertise and recommendations to the Department of Public Works, Division of Engineering Services. The Project/Traffic Engineer will be required to perform work under the direction and supervision of the Director of Public Works.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering is required. A Professional Engineer’s License in Ohio is preferred or the ability to obtain within 6 years. A minimum of five (5) years of similar engineering work and experience with redevelopment in an urban setting, serving diverse community and older infrastructure is preferred. Experience in budgeting and finance desirable.
