Geotech Engineering and Testing is a strong growing company in Houston, Texas and is a leader in the industry since 1985.
Experience in testing cement or soils or lab experience mandatory. If you have prior experience in the Geotechnical field it is a plus. This is a full time position Monday-Friday and Geotech Engineering and Testing offers good pay, benefits and advancement opportunities.
-Assist Engineering Lab in testing and collecting concrete samples for new road and bridge construction.-Inspect, test, and measure materials for conformance to specifications.
-Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications.
-Record inspection and test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded.-Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance-rejection status.
-Other duties assigned by the Manager. Must have driver's license to occasionally work in the field.
Compensation: Depends On Experience, and Certification.
NICET Certifications are mandatory.
