CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER
FARMER MORGAN
Position Overview:
Farmer | Morgan provides private and public sector planning, design and construction inspection services primarily to entities in Tennessee and North Alabama. The position is for a licensed professional engineer to work on design and construction documents in the State of Tennessee for design plans developed in conjunction with other employees of Farmer – Morgan, L.L.C.
Under minimal supervision, perform complex construction document development and design detail review. Support existing firm staff through project assistance, project development and project management as required. Ability to handle design review duties that are related to projects within the individual engineer’s purview of expertise.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):
1. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with design and drawing preparation for architectural and engineering projects which meet the client, contract and firm requirements. 2. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, analysis and report writing 3. Develop Opinions of Probable Cost (OPC’s) for clients in order to pursue project development. 4. Have the ability to establish good relationship with peers and clients by responding to requests in a timely manner Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering required with a professional licensure of Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in the State of Tennessee.
Experience:
A minimum of five years’ experience in requested field and any necessary professional licensure.
