Serve as advisor to business unit leadership teams on a wide range of business processes and performance. Activities include auditing, analyzing, driving continuous improvement, reporting of business unit performance to include recommended corrective actions.
Accountable for the auditing process related to a wide range of areas within the business unit. This includes the creation of a comprehensive site audit schedule, creation of audit checklists, selection and training of audit team members, creation of sustainable corrective actions, creation and communication of audit findings to a wide range of members within the organization, creation of audit reports and metrics, and tracking audit findings to closure.
Evaluates document control process to ensure appropriate procedures are in place, documentation inventories are current, document owners are established, review frequencies are maintained, member training is accurate and current, change request process is followed, and deviation process is followed. Based on findings of documentation control process evaluations, provide corrective action recommendations to site leadership and executive summaries to business unit leadership.
Serves as a resource in the creation and revision of process documentation.
Primary function is to evaluate the clarity and specificity of the documentation, with the goal of clear communication of required steps within procedures.
Evaluates business unit performance relative to corrective action creation and completion.
Works in a partnership capacity will all members of the business unit to drive the timely completion of action items. Serves in an advisor capacity to business unit senior leadership providing status updates, performance trends, and recommendations for improvement.
Evaluates the cost of quality associated with a wide range of events. Based on severity and facts associated with individual events, has a varying level of responsibility and involvement to ensure events are appropriately reported, investigated, documented, and corrective actions tracked to closure. Additionally, prepares and presents findings as requested to business unit leadership.
Accountable for process evaluation and improvement initiatives. This includes conducting systematic process reviews applying lean methodologies for process improvements.
Responsible for advising site leadership of recommended process improvements and tracking to closure.
Facilitates leadership level meetings on a wide range of business performance metrics and reviews.
Analyses a wide range of business activities and provides performance metrics and recommendations to site leadership.
Performs a wide range of duties associated with the investigation of events and root cause analysis. Serves in roles that include: team lead, facilitator, subject matter expert, advisor, and quality control of analysis findings.
Degree in Quality Assurance or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong personal computer skills with strong knowledge in Microsoft applications and other related software (e.g. Excel, Word, SAP, SharePoint).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing with members at all levels throughout the organization.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to document audit work performed and produce leadership level final audit reports.
Ability to work well on a team.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and make independent decisions.
Ability to provide leadership up, down and across the organization.
Strong knowledge of company policies, procedures, and practices.
Detail oriented with strong planning and organizational skills.
Strong ability to develop audit questions from written procedures to determine if procedure is being followed.

Bachelor's Degree; or an Associate's degree and Five (5) years' experience with plant processes and procedures, quality assurance, auditing, document control processes, metrics reporting and business performance scoreboards; In Lieu of a degree Seven (7) years' experience with plant processes and procedures, quality assurance, auditing, document control processes, metrics reporting and business performance scoreboards.
Valid State Driver's License.
Staff Level Requirements (20180214):
Bachelor's Degree and Three (3) years' experience with plant processes and procedures, quality assurance, auditing, document control processes, metrics reporting and business performance scoreboards; or an Associate's degree and Five (5) additional years' experience with plant processes and procedures, quality assurance, auditing, document control processes, metrics reporting and business performance scoreboards.
