STARTING SALARY: $34.71 per hour for a 40-hour work week, plus night differentials. Hourly rate is subject to change.

High Pressure Plant Tenders tend oil or gas fired high pressure boilers and related equipment. Inspect, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, refrigeration, air conditioning and related auxiliary equipment. Auxiliary equipment includes cooling towers, air handlers, chilled water pumps, air cleaners and filters, fans, heat exchangers, tubes, air treatment assemblies, humidifiers/dehumidifiers, and controls.
- Two years of full-time satisfactory experience within the last ten years operating and maintaining high pressure boilers or the equivalent marine experience; or
- One year of experience as described above plus graduation from an approved trade or vocational high school with a major course of study in or related to boiler operation
A MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSE valid in the State of New York is required for this position and must be maintained for the duration of appointment.
