| The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Western New England University seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning in August 2017. Candidates for this position must have a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering or a closely related field, and must have demonstrated ability or potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching, research, design and mentoring of young engineers. Candidates possessing an ability to teach and perform research in biomechanics, medical robotics, or rehabilitation engineering/prosthetics are sought. Outstanding candidates in other areas will also be considered. Desirable characteristics include engineering experience in industry and/or the clinic, knowledge of medical device development including FDA Quality System Regulations, and professional engineering licensure. |
