Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering
The Civil Engineering (CE) Department at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) invites applications for an assistant professor position to start Fall 2021 to meet the growing student enrollments of the CE department of 680 undergraduate students and graduate students in master degree program with 17 faculty members. The five areas of CE emphasized in the undergraduate degree plan are structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, construction management, transportation engineering and water resources/environmental engineering. The graduate program will focus four areas of environmental/water resources, structural/geotechnical, construction/transportation, and energy/infrastructure.
