What does it look like to be a Sprinkler Inspector with Sisco Safety?
As a Sprinkler Inspector, you will:
- Work directly with the service team and partner contacts to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire sprinkler systems
- Utilize your experience and training to inspect and maintain multiple different fire protection/life safety devices
- Have the opportunity to lead a team of technicians and mentor safety specialists and sprinkler apprentices. You will be given the opportunity to grow yourself personally and professionally and impact your own future; we value and emphasize growth so we financially support our entire team in taking training classes to achieve certifications within the fire and life safety industry
- At the end of the first year, success would mean mastery of our inspection software to track inspections, continuing certification in NFPA, success as a team lead, and identifying where YOU want to grow with the goals set for year two.

You:

- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Have a Valid Real ID and clean driving record
- Are able to pass a National Background Check
- Have clean drug screening results, initial and random
- Are able to follow company policy
- Are able to follow guidelines and requirements for inspections and services according the applicable NFPA standard and manufacturer's specifications
- Understand the importance of communicating discrepancies, necessary system repairs, and other important issues to the customer, Sisco office and service team as applicable
- Will support other departments of the Company as needed and/or perform other related duties as required
- Will be a leader in workplace safety with a professional and positive demeanor with partners and team members, able to handle change, resolve conflict and problem solve.
- Are able to interact and communicate in a professional manner with clients and team members
- Will obtain NFPA-10 Certification within 90 days of hiring
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with Water Based Systems (NFPA 25) Inspections and Service/Maintenance
- NICET II or above in Water Based Systems
- Experience using basic hand tools and pipe fitting/modifications
- Experience with basic fire sprinkler maintenance, operations, layout
- Either has or can obtain OSHA 10 certification
- Able to climb a ladder, lift and carry objects up to 60 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Able to stand for long periods of time and to lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull
- Able to accommodate shift changes, overtime and overnight travel approximately 35% of the time
- Available for After Hours work, when scheduled
- Available to participate in emergency rotation on-call service
- Proficient in Google Suite and general technology/applications
- Additional NFPA certifications are a plus
- Vaccinated for Covid-19 and other immunization as required
- Have a reliable attendance record
