This Project Development/Environmental Engineer position in the Federal Aid section of the State Aid Division exists to provide oversight of the National Environmental Policy Act process delegated to the Local Public Agencies (LPAs) for projects funded through the Federal Highway Administration. To assist LPAs in developing and processing local road, bridge, safety & enhancement projects that have been approved to use Federal Aid funding.  This includes providing technical assistance and training on the Federal environmental review and documentation requirements, review and approval of environmental documents and project design standards, and coordination between Local Agency, Federal Highway Administration staff and MnDOT Office of Environmental Stewardship.    AP
