 Position Summary 
 The Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all field installation activities for fire alarm and low-voltage life safety systems within new construction commercial, multifamily, and high-rise projects. This role ensures projects are executed safely, in compliance with contractual requirements, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with NFPA codes, AHJ requirements, and company quality standards. The Field Operations Manager provides leadership to field personnel while maintaining strong coordination with general contractors and project stakeholders. 
 Key Responsibilities 
 Operational Leadership 
 
 Oversee day-to-day field operations for fire alarm and life safety system installations 
 Plan and coordinate manpower, scheduling, and resource allocation across multiple active projects 
 Lead and participate in preconstruction and production meetings to ensure alignment and accountability 
 Conduct routine job site inspections to verify workmanship quality, schedule adherence, and safety compliance 
 Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, staging, and site storage logistics 
 Resolve field-related issues involving design conflicts, code interpretation, and constructability concerns 
 Serve as a primary point of contact for field-related matters with general contractors, electrical contractors, and inspectors 
 Ensure consistent application of company standards, policies, procedures, and best practices across all job sites 
 Monitor project performance to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality objectives are achieved 
 Identify operational risks and proactively implement corrective and preventive actions 
 
 Team Management &#38; Development 
 
 Lead, mentor, supervise, and support foremen, lead technicians, and installation crews 
 Assist with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of field personnel 
 Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and high-quality workmanship 
 Enforce company policies, performance expectations, and disciplinary actions as required 
 
 Safety &#38; Risk Management 
 
 Ensure compliance with company safety programs, OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety requirements 
 Verify proper use of PPE, ladders, lifts, and job site safety procedures 
 Promote a safety-first culture through regular field engagement, audits, and training 
 Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions and continuous safety improvements 
 Required Qualifications 
 
 Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction field operations or field management 
 Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting commercial, multifamily, and high-rise construction projects 
 Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and field teams simultaneously 
 Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals 
 Valid driver&#8217;s license 
 
 Preferred Qualifications 
 
 Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, Two-Way Communication Systems, ERRCS/BDA, and Security systems 
 OSHA 30 certification 
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software

 Role and Responsibilities: 
 
 Identify and implement effective process control systems to support the qualification and ongoing manufacturing of products in order to meet and exceed internal and external requirements. 
 Lead our team in the implementation of process controls, CAPA systems, resolve any quality issues. 
 Assist in the streamlining of our manufacturing process to incorporate lean and six sigma methods on the manufacturing floor. Improve business systems to effectively identify and resolve quality concerns. 
 Utilize sound systematic problem-solving methods, prioritizing and communication quality and efficient manufacturing process as well as lead and implement Process Improvements (i.e. Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, 5 whys etc.) Support product sustaining activities in the areas of change management, ISO compliance, quality control, and supplier management initiatives. 
 Work with management to execute projects that improve the QMS (Quality Management System). 
 Administer internal audit, calibration, and corrective action programs in compliance with QMS procedures and ISO standards. 
 Participate and sometimes lead the completion and maintenance of risk analysis. 
 Lead investigations, resolution, and prevention of product and process non-conformances. 
 Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS) Environmental management Systems (EMS) and other regulatory requirements. 
 Comply with company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignment. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all level of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. 
 Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion as assigned. 
 Participate and lead Material Review Board (MRB) process to determine disposition decisions on non-conforming parts 
 Manage, maintain, and track calibration of quality tools used throughout the business. 
 Participate in cross-functional teams across the business to improve business processes and systems. 
 Partner with manufacturing to build quality into standard work and establish mistake proofing activities to reduce finished goods inspection requirements. 
 
 Bachelors Degree: Engineering or Science discipline or equivalent experience 
 Needs to have 5+ years quality experience in an electronics/electro-mechanical manufacturing environment 
 Must be a legal US Citizen 
 Working Knowledge of appropriate regulatory agencies AS9100, EN13485, ISO9001 
 Experience and expertise in investigating root cause analysis, CAPA, SCAR 
 Experience utilizing tools such as six-sigma, lean, 8-D, CAPA, PFMEA, 5 Whys etc. 
 Internal Audit Experience</description>
