Salary Details:
This would be a starting salary, 90 day raise, holiday bonuses, and 1 week paid vacation after 1 year of employment.
Brief Description
Seeking a NICET-certified inspector to perform inspections, testing, and acceptance of sprinkler, standpipe, fire pump, and other water-based fire protection systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and test wet, dry, deluge, pre-action, and standpipe systems; perform fire pump and flow testing.
Conduct acceptance, annual, and periodic tests per NFPA (13, 14, 20, 25).
Document findings, prepare reports, and coordinate corrective actions.
Troubleshoot on-site and communicate with clients and service teams.
Travel to client sites; maintain accurate records and safety compliance.
Our largest inspection contract is with public schools; you must be able to pass their backgrounding process!
Qualifications
NICET Certification in Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems (Level I minimum).
3+ years’ experience with water-based systems inspection/testing.
Knowledge of NFPA standards and mechanical troubleshooting.
Valid driver’s license; able to work in varied field conditions.
