Fire Sprinkler Designer I Responsibilities:
The Fire Sprinkler Designer I will learn how to design Fire Protection Systems for Commercial and Residential projects. Training will also include project management of simultaneous jobs, RFI / ASI review, change order processing, purchasing material, ensure timely billings, scheduling, and coordination. The fire protection layouts will comply with applicable NFPA standards, Local and National Building Codes, and the scope of work required based on the project documents and specifications.
Fire Sprinkler Designer I Qualifications:
1+ year experience in fire sprinkler design preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred
NICET I in Water Based Layout preferred
Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software
Understanding of general construction methods, practices, and terminology preferred
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Knowledge of local and national fire and building codes & government regulations preferred
