The Inspector/Technician will support the Heavy Highway Construction project by performing inspection of the contractor’s operations on a highway rehabilitation project on the Taconic State Parkway for the NYS Department of Transportation in Region 8, Hudson Valley.  The inspection will be done to observe the quality of the construction performed and make sure it is in conformance with the contract specifications and details.  The inspection will be performed in the field at night under the direction of the project Resident Engineer and Chief Inspector between Sunday night and Thursday nights during the week.  Overtime hours may be required.  Completion of required Daily Work Reports (DWRs) will be required.  We are looking for NICET Level I and Level II c
